Bramwell's story
Bramwell arrived with his round spectacles already perched on his nose, as if he'd been mid-chapter when we found him. A gentleman of the early 2000s — his foot pad carries an embroidered year to prove it — he wears a red tartan bow tie and a coat of soft, curly caramel fur that has kept its plush remarkably well. His soft paw pads show the gentle polish of years spent being held. We've gently machine washed him, given him a careful brushing, and straightened his spectacles, and now he's ready for his second chapter: ideally somewhere with a good reading lamp, a windowsill, and someone with room for one more story.
