Chestnut Marlow's story
As the story goes, Chestnut Marlow once kept the ledgers at a roadside chestnut stand, sorting the good roasters from the duds and never once dropping a tally. His coat plays along: a Willowbeary shag in warm roasted-brown, the fur curling and standing in loose ringlets like it's been out in the steam. His muzzle pales to biscuit around a small open mouth, his amber-flecked eyes sit clear and level, and both stitched nose and eyes are firm. Weighted feet and bottom let him plant himself squarely wherever he's set. The side-seam tag reads intact. Bathed and combed through by hand, seams sound, he settles with the poise of a bear who kept good books.
