Cocoa's story
Cocoa arrived in near perfect condition with his leather tag still tucked to his chest. His frosted cocoa-and-cream fur is remarkably full, tipped in pale gold like toast with butter, and his rainbow ribbon has kept every one of its colors. We gave him a gentle brush and a good long look into those deep brown eyes, and found nothing to mend — only a bear from the early 2000s who was kept carefully and never quite found his person. He is ready for his second chapter now, preferably one filled with laughter.
