Custard 's story
Custard has always maintained that he spent his best years as a professional listener at a piano teacher's studio, seated on the bench to keep beginners company through their scales. Whatever the truth, he is a plush Gund Collectors Classics limited-edition fellow in dense honey-caramel, his coat marled darker down the spine where the light seems to gather. His face is broad and mild — glossy dark eyes set wide, and a smooth toffee-brown leather nose above a gentle stitched mouth. His oval blue Gund charm still hangs bright at his chest. Soft rounded paw pads finish his feet. Washed and combed through by hand; seams firm, fur full and springy.
