Dovecote Plum's story
She has never once sat up, and she'd rather that not be held against her. Gund built her belly-down — hind legs tucked behind, front paws forward, ears long enough to pass her paws and heavy enough to stay wherever they fall. The plush is a bright, unbothered white, densest at the haunches, with a faint grey shadow settled across the crown where a hand came to rest over and over. The inside her ears are velvety soft velour. Washed gently, ears combed straight and dried flat, care label whole, every seam checked.
