Escobar
The crisp Aurora tag and unfaded plush suggest he's still well within his first few years of being somebody's favorite.
A small grey plush hippo with pink-lined ears and nose, soft shaggy fur, and an Aurora maker's tag stitched into the back seam.

Escobar's story
Escobar came in sideways, tucked against a shoulder rather than walked in on his own legs, and it shows in the way he still prefers to lean. His fur is a soft smoke-grey, long and windblown, roughed into gentle whorls as if he spent most of his days being scrubbed against someone's cheek rather than sat on a shelf. His ears and the tip of his muzzle carry the only brightness on him — a flat, dusty pink, slightly deeper in the creases where a little finger must have traced them often. He's a small, round armful, built for carrying more than standing. No damage worth mending, just the particular softness that only comes from being held constantly and never once ignored. His bottom is lightly weighted with pellets.
