Hercules's story
Hercules arrived with the story of a small red raft already half-told in his eyes, and he'll finish it for you if you sit close: how he steered that raft down a garden stream one summer, mane streaming, tassel tail acting as a rudder. He's a Wild Republic lion — the little orange tag still bright at his hip — built lean and low to the ground, sitting up on his haunches with front paws planted like he's about to spring. His coat is a warm savanna gold, mane a deep espresso brown that stands up in a proud ruff, muzzle bright ivory, eyes ringed in amber. Bathed by hand, mane combed out, every seam checked and sound.
