Marchmallow Dawn's story
Marchmallow Dawn arrived certain she had once been a night-light for a nursery, standing watch on a low shelf where the first sun of morning found her horn before anyone else in the house was awake. The photographs almost prove it: her twisted gilt horn still holds its shine, while the rosy mane running down her spine has faded to the palest blush, sun-touched where a window kept her company. She's white plush warmed to cream, with pink-lined ears, a hand-embroidered pink nose, and soft rose pads on hands and heel. Washed gently, mane combed back to a soft ripple, every seam checked and sound.
