Marmalade's story
Marmalade arrived dressed for travel, as bears of his lineage always are: red felt hat tipped just so, blue duffle coat with all three toggles still fastened, and something orange tucked under one paw that we suspect is a sandwich for emergencies. His curly brown fur is soft and full, barely mussed — we think he waited patiently on a shelf more than he roamed. His kind stitched smile and bright eyes suggest a bear raised on good manners and better preserves. He has been checked over by hand, gently machine washed, fluffed, and pronounced ready for his second chapter. He is looking for someone with a windowsill, a story at bedtime, and room for one more.
