Meringue's story

Meringue is a big, soft armful of a bear — the kind who takes up most of the reading chair and doesn't apologize for it. His cream fur is long and cloud-shaggy, with a little gentle matting on his tummy where someone clearly leaned in for many good hugs. His oversized feet, with their stitched cocoa paw pads, suggest he was made for sitting patiently, and sit patiently he does. He came to us fluffed and brushed by hand, whole and well-kept, simply waiting on a shelf longer than a bear his size should. Meringue is ready for his second chapter with someone who has room — real room — for one more story.
