Mochi's story
Mochi arrived with his fur still soft and his dark eyes bright, which tells us someone kept him carefully — perhaps on a bed pillow, perhaps a quiet shelf where he watched the seasons change. He's a panda of the modern sort, all plush black and white, with tousled ears and a gentle rubbed sheen on his legs from being held just so. He needed only a good brushing and a little fluffing by hand before he was ready for his second chapter. He sits beautifully on his own, patient as anything, and seems to be waiting for someone with room for one more story.
