Peachwick Lull claims he was poured, not sewn — that a summer somewhere tipped its ripest hour into a mould and let it set soft. His coat makes the case: a long shaggy blush that runs deeper apricot across the back and pales to cream at the muzzle and cheeks, catching light in loose whorls over the shoulders. His paler cream snout holds a stitched cocoa nose, and his small dark eyes keep a patient, slightly sleepy watch. The back pile lies in a gentle pressed lean, the mark of someone who tucked him close and kept him close. Bathed, pile brushed out in sections as he dried, every seam checked and sound.
