Goldilocks's story
Goldilocks holds that she once apprenticed to a moonlight cobbler, learning to line every sole with a bright metallic thread so that no bear ever went unnoticed after dark. Her paws make the case for it: both broad feet and each rounded ear finish in a shining golden panel, still crackle-bright and unpeeled. The rest of her is a soft blush-cream, plush and springy, with a two-tone muzzle that pales toward the chin and glossy black bead eyes set clear and centered. Her Kellytoy tag sits intact and legible at the seam. Freshly washed and combed by hand, seams sound throughout, she's ready to shine for someone new.
