Silvermarch Fenn's story
Silvermarch Fenn will tell you, if the room is quiet enough, that he once served as a lookout on a foggy pier, where his coat took its color from the mist that never quite lifted. His plush is a swirled dove-grey shag, marled paler at the belly and darkening toward the shoulders, with a small stitched pink nose above a barely-there mouth. His long ears are wired, so they bend and hold wherever a hand last posed them — cocked, drooping, or perked toward a story. Cream-lined and softly frosted, they give him a listening tilt all his own. His Chosun tag reads whole at the seam. Bathed and combed through, seams firm.
