Solstead Roar's story
Solstead Roar showed up with his mane already doing all the talking — a wide corona of layered gold-and-amber fur, each strand catching light differently depending on how he's tipped, like he's still deciding which way to face the sun. Underneath all that drama his face is almost shy: a cream muzzle, a small stitched chuckle of a mouth, a dark velvet nose set just off-center. His paws are broad and soft, meant for flopping rather than pouncing. The mane shows the only real wear — a touch of flattening at the crown where something rested against him for long stretches, probably a chin, maybe a book. Everything else holds its shape remarkably well. He's not fierce. He's decorative in the way a good fire is decorative — warm to look at, warmer to sit beside. Gently machine washed and looking for someone who doesn't mind a bit of mane in their face.
