Toffee Wren's story
Toffee Wren likes to hint that he once sang backup for a music box, holding a low note while the ballerina spun above him. What his fur shows is gentler and truer: a shaggy caramel-brown coat, curled tight and cinnamon-warm, faded to a paler biscuit where his ears and paw tips caught more handling than the rest. His muzzle and the pads of both broad feet are smooth ivory suede-plush, still soft and clean, with faint darker stitch-lines drawn across each sole. Small glossy bead eyes sit level and kind above a modest stitched nose. His white Toys "R" Us tab reads plainly at the seam. Washed and combed by hand, seams firm, he sits with an easy slouch.
