Willowdown Tuck's story

Willowdown Tuck spent his working years, he insists, as a lull-keeper — the plush appointed to sit at the foot of a bed and outlast every excuse to stay awake. He's a plump lop-eared Commonwealth rabbit in frosted taupe plush, each fiber tipped silver so his coat catches light like grass after a heavy dew. His long ears droop to the floor, one crushed flatter than the other from a favored lean. Soft cream pads finish his feet, and a snowy pom of a tail sits bright at his back. A gauzy ivory ribbon, tied by a careful hand, loops beneath his glossy dark eyes. Washed and combed through, seams firm.
