Wintergreen's story

Wintergreen arrived wearing his tartan cap slightly askew, as if he'd just come in from the cold. A polar bear of the plush 1990s style, he's kept his snowy fur remarkably bright — someone clearly kept him high on a shelf, out of jam's reach. His black-stitched paw pads and button nose are crisp as new frost, and he sits sturdily on his own, the way a good listener should. He came to us with a crowd of other bears from a well-loved collection, and now he's ready for his second chapter: a windowsill with a view of the weather, perhaps, and someone with room for one more story.
